This project was an exploration of drawing with a CNC machine as a form of printmaking, completed for my Graduate Printmaking Processes class at SCAD. Traditionally, prints are reproduced by means of an etched copper plate, a relief block, silk screen, etc. Here, the digital file, or the g-code, serves as the matrix by which the image is reproduced, challenging traditional methods of printmaking.
